Welcome 2012!   I hope all of my fans had a fabulous holiday season and an awesome new year!   2011 was a great year, but I am totally ready now to move forward with some awesome new games.    First up – the Zippin’ Zone.    Yup, that’s right – Amusement Masters now has a mobile zipline that will officially debut in March.   But for now, here’s a quick teaser:

Carnival Themes – not just for picnics anymore!

So I am sure a lot of my followers think that the carnival them is limited to outdoor, picnic-type events.   Well, I am here to tell you that is absolutely not true!  In reality, the carnival theme is one of the most versatile options out there…suiting everything from amazing Mitzvahs to Grand Opening Celebrations to a Vendor Fair.   So the next time you are planning an event, consider the fun of the old fashioned carnival theme!

Tabernacle Open House

September 1st, 2011

On June 15, 2011 we were honored to partner with The Tabernacle as they hosted an open house showcase. It was a great night filled with awesome food courtesy of Gloriosa, photography by Ben Rose and of course, an assortment of our awesome interactive games.  The Tabernacle is a great venue for our entire blacklight collection – especially if you are hosting an event downstairs in the Cotton Club.   And the LED Dance Floor is a perfect additional to any events hosted here as well.

Football Season!

Football, America’s pastime, throwing the ole’ pigskin. I don’t know if you are excited, but I sure am! Whether you like college football, NFL, or just like attending high school games, there is no denying the excitement for football is here. Tension has been building with the NFL lockout all summer long but now that it is finally over football fans everywhere can celebrate! So what does that mean? Being who I am, all I can say is “event!” Don’t know how to plan a football themed event? That is what I am here for! I am going to go over some basic things you need to consider to help you achieve the perfect football themed event!

Budget. You must know your budget before you begin. Once you have gotten your budget, figure out what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend to achieve the results you want. Write out what you are willing to spend more or less on. Detail your budget so you know exactly how much you can spend on all the little things and al the big things.

Audience. Who are you targeting? What kind of football do they like to watch? If you are working for a college, you might want to focus on the college team on campus. If you are working for a company, maybe you want to focus on college and NFL teams. Maybe you could even incorporate some Fantasy Football into your event.

Venue. Where are you going to host the event? Is it accessible? Does it cost anything for you to rent out? Is it at a location that your audience can easily get to? Think about your audience when choosing your event?

Advertising. How is your targeted audience going to be informed of your event?

Purpose. What is the purpose of your event? What will be occurring at the event? Be creative! There is so much you can do with a football theme! BIG Changes!

I know I haven’t been updating this blog as I should for all of you but all of that is about to change! I have a new plan for the blog! Not only will I highlight my Game Girl game each week, but I will be highlighting various events as well! If you have a big event coming up that you have already booked with us, you might see your event on our blog a few days after your event is over. I welcome you to share the blog post about your event with all of your friends. This is just my way of saying thanks and a way to show others how amazing our clients are! Who doesn’t like a little bit of spotlight time? All of this will be started in the next couple of weeks. Things are about to get busy around here and I want each of you to see the great things that are happening. Who knows, you might even get an idea or two from another event featured! I can’t wait to get started on this project for each of you. In the mean time, keep reading my Game Girl posts and checking our Facebook and Twitter for any updates.
